(Bind. in need of restoration/replacement, lacking the preface on 2 lvs. by Melanchton (evidently removed by the censor?), pages 676-686 rather intensely annotated in the margin by an old hand, but in fine interior condition).
On the fore-edge titled in brown ink, above and underneath this fore-edge title coats of arms are drawn in sepia, the lower of which belonged to Fernando de Toledo Oropesa (1520-1590), cardinal appointed by Gregorius XIII. Old ownership entry on the title and small bookplate of the 'Biblioteca del excmo. Senor Marques de Astorga'.
