A very rare and curiously composed linguistical tour de force by the German Orientalist Christian Ravius (Rau, 1613-77). This work is the first scholarly introduction to the Arabic and Semitic languages in English, and consists of three differently titled works, with varying title-pages and dates. - Wing, R-313.
