Written and performed by Frithjof Willem Sophie van Thienen (1901-1969) on the occasion of Willem Vogelsang's professorate - the first professorate in the history of art in the Netherlands! - at the University of Utrecht where he was appointed in 1907. Humorous stage play with musical interludes in which Mr. and Mrs. Arnolfini (from the painting 'Arnolfini's Dream' by Jan van Eyck) come to life. Mrs. Arnolfini subsequently travels through time and arrives in 1932 where she meets jazz music, film and modern art, but also Victorine Hefting, who was professor Vogelsang's assistant.
