The book contains 15 plates, a.o. with a view of Aleppo, Mount Carmel, Solomon's cisterns, Mount Tabor and 7 double-paged engravings of the temple Baalbek, a Roman structure in Lebanon. - Cox I, p. 219 (3rd ed.); Tobler, pp. 116-118 (3rd ed.); Weber, pp. 100-101, nrs. 444-450 (first, foreign and later editions); Röhricht, pp. 286-287; Blackmer, p. 111, No. 214.
