Second edition of a Dutch Reformed attack against the Mennonites, first published in 1637. In 1626 the Alkmaar synod asked Austro-Sylvius to write a book in response to the confession of faith published by the Mennonite preacher Jacques Outerman, which contained "blasphemous teachings". In 1627 it became clear that he couldn't do it alone, and Abraham à Doreslaer was appointed to help. The book includes extensive quotations from many extremely rare publications.
