First authorised Russian edition, actually issued by Mouton in The Hague in September 1958. As a result of a misunderstanding 1000 copies were printed in stead of the intended proof edition. With a 2-page foreword dated 1 August 1958. This is the edition of Pasternak's Doctor Zhivago that is commented upon in P.
