Extremely rare first edition with fabulous woodcuts of the so-called "Divisiekroniek" written by Cornelius Aurelius de Gouda who lived & worked in the monastery Sint Hieronymusdal or Lopsen near Leiden. The work is based on several medieval chronicles, like the "Chronicon Hollandia" by Joannes a Leydis, the "Cronica van Coellen" (1499), "Fasciculus temporum" by Veldenaer (1480), Richard de Bury's "Philobiblon" and the "Kroniek van Holland" by the Clerc uten Lagen Landen. The woodcuts i.a. by Lucas van Leyden, and copies after Hans Burgkmair.
