(16), xxxvi, 911 pp. W. engr. front.-portr. of Lipsius, engr. ti., 2 engr. plates by C. Galle after Rubens (bust of Seneca & Seneca in bath) & num. woodcut initials & vign. Fol. Cont. mottled cf. w. raised bands, dec. gilt back, red label & gilt coat of arms of Middelburg on both sides, surrounded by gilt floral bind. (Joints split at the ends, prize fail, lower outer corner and upper margin a bit stained in places, a bit browned).
