Nieuwenhhuis, a.e.g. (Lower spine end vol. V-VI faintly stained, all vols. w. some (minor) staining in places).
Van Leeuwen, Cat. The "Nieuwe Kunst". (2000), nr. 105, has reason to believe that the vellum set he listed was bound in 1907, because vol. XI of the 'Opstellen' which appeared in 1912 was not bound up. On all spines the gilt initials of Nieuwenhuis ('TN'), Mensing ('JM') and Scheltema & Holkema Boekhandel Amsterdam ('S&HBA') occur. Our set possibly a second set in vellum, because the 'Beijers set' was described as being "splendid"? - Braches, Bouwstoffen, 1598; Catalogue Beijers 1993 (Johan Polak), lot 1441.€ 1800
