Beach-scene after Jacob de Gheyn with the famous sand-yacht of Prince Maurice of Nassau designed by Simon Stevin carrying twenty-two (of 28) passengers said to have travelled therein from Scheveningen to Petten with a speed of c. 40 km per hour; preceded by a smaller sand-yacht with seven on board, and followed by two horsemen.
