Interleaved copy of a very important auction catalogue of the library of the uncle of Vincent van Gogh, not only containing the names of all the buyers and prices written in pencil, but also containing the commissions given by buyers who wished to bid anonymously or who could not attend the sale in person. A list of all these buyers (46) can be found on the lower paste down.
