Rare household, health counsellor and recipe book of which only 3 copies occur in the NCC. The work, of which Van der Aa mentions an edition prior to this one from the year 1594 printed in Leeuwarden (?), became immensely popular and went through many editions. In the NCC this is the earliest edition listed. The author was a MD at Dordrecht of whom Banga p. 210-215 gives biographical details in his Geschiedenis v.d. vroegere geneeskunde in Nederland. - Van der Aa I, p. 54.€ 500
