Rare complete album with lithographed title (often lacking!) and all 36 handcoloured plates of uniforms of the Austrian army by the Austrian painters August von Pettenkoffer & Josef Anton Strassgschwandtner, with fine provenance. Actual size of the mounted lithographs 23,5 x 31,5 cm; each with its own caption. Provenance: The famous F(erdinand) C(asper) Koch library (sold in auction Hauswedell & Nolte, December 1974 - however this work not present in that catalogue). On Koch see a.o.
