(Small brownish stains in upper left and lower right corner, some splits/small tears/defects in blank margin, repair on v°-side of central vertical fold, and some slight wear in general to folds, v°-side soiled, but actually in a reasonable condition).
Impressive city plan of 18th c. Rome lying within the Walls of Aurelia and with an inset showing the principal antiquities. The ample index of the principal buildings with 402 entries is engraved in the plates and surrounds the image. - Ficacci 700: "The most likely date for this plan is c. 1774, on the basis of the dedication to the ruling Pope, who died in September that year."; Focillon 600; Wilton-Ely 1008; Höper 15.€ 500
