(Upper outer corner faintly stained at the end, annot. in an old hand on v° 2nd ti., but an excellent copy).

Ad 1: Extremely rare work on the origin and properties of Hebrew vowels, by the professor of Theology at the Gelrian academy of Harderwijk Alhardt de Raadt (1640-1716). A second edition was published in 1685. - Fürst III, 125. Only 2 copies in NCC, not in UB Leiden! Ad 2: First edition of the apocryphal Arabic Gospel of the Childhood of Christ, with the Arabic text on the versos and the Latin translation on the facing rectos. Henricus Sike, a famous orientalist from Bremen, based his edition on a manuscript once belonging to the eminent orientalist Jacobus Golius, and the many notes include excerpts from the Quran and other works. - Schnurrer 412.
