Sketchbook containing at least 20 drawings in pencil and conté, some with notations on colour, and with additional notes in pencil especially on paste downs and endpapers: addresses, names, appointments, recipes (?) and other entries. With oval stamp "Atelier G.H. Breitner" in purple ink throughout. Also with stamp by "D. Sala & Zonen (…) 's-Gravenhage" on the upper paste down. According to information of the present owners the sketchbook was given to their grandfather by the artist Gerrit van Duffelen (1889-1967).€ 3000
